Commanding the Blessings through Wisdom

In Christ we drink of the fountain of wisdom, for in Him is hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. So when we come to Christ, we have come to meet with the source of wisdom which make life profitable. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. -Colossians 2:3 It takes the hidden treasures of wisdom in Christ to live in and enjoy the blessings God. But to search the hidden treasures of wisdom in Christ we must be willing to learn from Him. It takes learning to gain access to the wisdom of Christ. This is why Jesus personally invited us to learn of Him. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  -Matthew 11:29 It takes learning to gain wisdom, and applying our hearts to the gained wisdom helps us maximizing the blessings of God. This why David prayed God to teach him His ways. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. -Psalms 90:12 Until we are ready to be taught, we are not ready to for wisdom. This because wisdom deals with knowledge and understanding. Knowledge and understanding comes through learning. This means the treasures of wisdom are revealed through learning. What is Wisdom? Before we look out how to command the blessing through wisdom, let's see what wisdom really is. 1. Wisdom is knowing what to do in order to get what you want according to the will of God.  And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. -John 6:6 2. Wisdom is applying the knowledge of God's word in order to experience the blessings of God. 3. Wisdom is knowing HOW to do things in order to achieve a desired result. The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city. -Ecclesiastes 10:15 4. Wisdom is applying the revelation of God's word in handling the issues of life. 5. Wisdom is following the leading of the Holy Spirit. So you see, wisdom has to do with knowing WHAT, HOW, of doing things. You are regarded as a wise man when you know what to do to solve the issues of life. Now, WHAT are we to do to command the blessings of God in our lives? Some persons have asked me how did get so blessed within a short time in ministry. These are my answers to them. Wisdom 1. Honor the Lord with your substance joyfully. Proverbs 3:9-10 9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. We stand qualified for the plenty and bursting out blessings of the Lord by simply honor Him with our substance. God said, he that honors Him, He will honor.  Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. -1 Samuel 2:30 You cannot honor the Lord with your substance and first fruit and He deny you His blessings. Your honor of Him with you first fruit is the wisdom path to commanding His blessings. A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? -Malachi 1:6 Until we are ready to please Him by honoring Him, we are not ready to be satisfied with His blessings. Everyone around me knows that nothing I have is too big to be given to the Lord. I have been privileged to give my first N1.8million to God and never have a feeling for. Wisdom 2. Honor Your Biological Parents Ephesians 6:2-3 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. Whether you know it or not, your biological parents are instrument of God's blessings upon your life. God honors their pronouncement over your life. To command the blessings of God, wisdom demands that you honor your biological parents. They don't need to be rich and beautiful before you honor them. Do don't even need to be good before you do that. Just honor them according to the word of the Lord, and they will pronounce blessings upon you. With this pronouncement, God will see to it that you are truly blessed. Oh, what a blessed day when my biological father, blessed my life. It was on February 12, 2002. He said, my son, you shall be great. He said this more than seven times. And I tell you the truth, it is coming to pass. Isaac to Esau, get me some venison which love and my soul shall bless thee before I die. You must get your parents some venisons to provoke the blessing God has kept in your soul for you. The parental blessings of Jacob upon Joseph is still standing till this date. Don't be too civilized to forget honoring your parents. Wisdom 3. Honor the priest Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. -Ephesians 6:1 We are to honor God, and our parents. And also the priest of God. There is an extent parental blessings will go. But that of the priest can be go extra mile. Why should we honor the priest, God answered it Himself. And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house. -Ezekiel 44:30 The priest has a commandment to cause the blessings of God to rest in your house. The Macedonian church had this understanding and the blessed Paul. And Paul said, my God shall supply all your needs. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:19 Whenever you sow into the life of God's servant, they pronounce blessings upon you. And God will watch to confirm the words of His servants. Boy, men of God has spoken to my life. And their blessings are really. These are wisdom path to command the blessings.

Expressing Faith Through Praise

God is always looking at our faith before He could intervene in our affairs. Wherever there is lack of faith, God is handicapped in our situation. This because God needs our faith to intervene in our affairs. It is important to know that God is not moved by our tears or our complains but our faith in Him. Because faith counts on the ability of God. And one way to express our faith in the ability of God is to render praise to God. Praise is the joyful and confident expression of our faith in the person and ability of God. Each time you render praise to God irrespective of your condition, you are simply saying, God has power to change your condition and you are restingon that ability of God. 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. When you give into complaining and murmuring, it means you are weak in faith and can't trust the ability of God to do what He has said and promised.  Numbers 11: 1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. -Numbers 11:1 Each time we complain, we simply tell God that He can't help or solve our problems. Complaining deprives us from enjoying the ability of God. But whenever we stand in praise and glorify God even in the midst of our challenges we simply say, God you are bigger than our problems. Complaining means you have giving up on the ability of God. Abraham did not give up on God and hence he was called the man of faith. He did not look at his challenge but on the promise and the ability of God. Still, he did not give up faith in the undertaking of God, but was made strong by faith, giving glory to God, -Romans 4:20 (BBC) Sarah could conceive irrespective of her condition because she rested on the ability of God by through faith. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. -Hebrews 11:11 Today as we praise expect God to manifest His power in your life. 2 Chronicles 20: 21-22 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. The enemy is not an issue when engage the power of God. And one way to engage the power of God is through the expression of our faith in God through praise. Conclusively, we are told the result of faith expressed through praise in psalms 67. Psalm 67:5-7 5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. With this, you should know that whenever you express your faith through faith, there is bound to be a turnaround. God bless you.

Overcoming the Challenges of Life through Wisdom

OVERCOMING THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE THROUGH WISDOM We are living in a world of equality. Equal challenge, equal temptations, equal opportunities, equal education, equal grace, equal time, etc. Everything is equal to everyone under the sun. But what you get in the world is determined by your level of wisdom. Ecclesiastes 9:2-3,11 2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath. 3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. God is so kind that He has decided to release everything to us equally but it then depends on us to determine the result we get out of life. Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field. -Ecclesiastes 5:9 The profit of the earth is for everyone, but whether you will enjoy the profit it all depends on you. It takes wisdom to partake of the benefit that is both in the kingdom and the earth. Jesus established this fact that we all (saved and unsaved) do face the same challenge but to the believers, we have an advantage because we have access to the wisdom to turn everything to our favor. Matthew 7:24-27 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  To stand strong, and withstand the floods of life, the winds, rains and frustration in the word, we must rely on the wisdom of God. This one reason Jesus promised us wisdom in order to stand victorious in this world. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.  -Luke 21:15 Until you go for wisdom, you are going to be flooded out by the challenges of life. The challenges of life do not have respect of persons. It either you overcome them or they beat you down. HOW DO WE OVERCOME CHALLENGES THROUGH WISDOM? 1. Take heed to the word of God. Luke 7:24-27 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  It takes the sayings of Christ to gain wisdom. And through this wisdom, you can overcome the challenges of live. God's word is our wisdom. Ignoring the word is ignoring His wisdom for us. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. -Deuteronomy 4:6 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. -2 Timothy 3:15 You cannot get the wisdom of God by ignoring His word. And it would take heeding to a His word to overcome the challenges of life. 2. Think before you act. Luke 14:28-30 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?  29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,  30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.  Wisdom has to do with thinking. To act before you think makes you foolish. To overcome the challenges of life you must sit down to think first before you act. Someone said, look before you leap. Do not rush into doing things. 3. Learn to project into the future. A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. -Proverbs 22:3 To project means to see into the future or to have a foresight. Don't wait until challenges come before you take step. Learn to foresee them and plan your escape. Every wise person will live having the future in mind. 4. Live a planned life. The reason so many people are victims of challenges is as a result of lack of planning or inadequate planning. Proverbs 24:3-4 3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: 4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Until you plan, you will always lie a frustrating life. Progress is a product of a planned life. You cannot make progress without planning. 5. Stay connect to Christ Our victory is hidden in Christ.  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? -1 John 5:5 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.  -John 16:33 There is no challenge Christ has not overcome. To stay connect to Christ is to stay victorious. You cannot ignore Christ and win the race of life with His wisdom. To those who are in Christ all things including challenges work together for their good. Wisdom therefore demands that you stay connect to Him because He will guide you on the way to profit.

Living Within God's Proection

Living Within God's Protection It is very possible to live in divine protection that is beyond the reach of the enemy and death. We need the protection of God because we are living in a wicked world. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. -1 John 5:19 This world is naturally wicked because the god of this world is wicked. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. -2 Corinthians 4:4 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: -1 Peter 5:8 Because the devil who is the god of this world is wicked he is looking for who he may devour. The devil targets us because we are no longer of this world in which he rules as god. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  -John 15:19 Because we are living in this wicked world, we face the wicked arrows of the enemy. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.  -Matthew 10:16 We are living in the midst of wolves. Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. -Psalms 74:20 But in the midst of it all, we can live in the protection of God. No matter the wickedness and evil in the world, we are exempted from them all. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. -Proverbs 12:21 Psalm 91:4-11 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. So we are far above the reach of the evils and wickedness in this world. Job was so protected that the devil testified of it. Job 1: 9-10 9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? 10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. If Job could enjoy divine protection, we in the better covenant will enjoy more. Because as a result redemption we placed far above principality, wickedness, powers and the devil. God said, "no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper" No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. -Isaiah 54:17 How do we live in within the protection of God? 1. Live in the The kingdom The Kingdom of God is the only environment to live in the protection of God. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: -Colossians 1:13 To be protected of God, you must live in the kingdom of God. 2. Live in the secret place He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. -Psalms 91:1 There is a secret place to be protected. That place is CHRIST. You must abide in Christ to enjoy divine protection. When you abide in Christ as His branch, God will become the one to watch over you. 3. Stand in the promise of divine protection You will need to stand in the promises of God by faith. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  -Mark 16:18 Your stand in the promises of God by faith makes you stand protected in this wicked world. 4. Speak the word You need to speak protection to your self. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. -Psalms 118:17 5. Use the ordinance You can use the ordinance like the anointing oil to secure divine protection

Developing The Forgiving Heart

Developing the Forgiving Heart

It is important to note that offenses will surely come. As long as we are living in this flesh and in this world, offenses will surely come.

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. -1 John 5:19

We are presently in a world of wickedness. And so wickedness is a normal thing in the world.

But for us who are God's children, wickedness is not in our blood, not in our spirit, nor nature. And so, we cannot deal wickedly to others.

However, as God's children, when wickedness comes to us as offense from people, we have the authority and choice to forgive.

You cannot stop people from offending you, but you can choose to forgive when the offense come.

Luke 17:1-2
1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Just as we cannot stop people from offending us, so also one should stop us from forgiving them.

Luke 17:3-4
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Forgiveness is a sign of maturity in the spirit.

Ephesians 4:31 -32
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

As God's children we are expected to forgive just as Christ forgave us. We are not true representatives of Christ if we don't forgive like Christ.

Colossians 3:12-14

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

How to Develop a Forgiving Heart.

1. Know that you are not perfect.

With this understanding you will also know that others are not perfect. And because of this they will act imperfectly which may offend you.

2. Know that people will definitely offend you. (Luke 17:1)

You can't stop people from offending you but you have a choice of what to do with the offense. Whether to nurse it in you heart or to forgive from your heart.

3. Tell people their offenses. (Luke 17:3)

When people offend you, don't just keep it in mind. Tell people what they did to you wrongly. By doing this you clear your mind from bitterness and prepares it to forgive.

However in the case where you may not see the person tell God what the person did and forgive.

4. Allow the love of Christ to overwhelm your heart.

Every true forgiveness is from the heart of love. You cannot love without forgiving.

The more you allow the love of Christ in your heart the more you are quick to forgive from the heart.

5. Be ready to forgive when people ask for it.

6. Always remember that Christ has forgiven you too. (Colossians 3:13)

As we continue in this teaching series, I believe God will remold our hearts to become tender and full of love so we will be able to forgive any one that trespasses against us.

Be blessed.

Living Beyond Curses

Living Beyond Curses

It takes the blessings of God to leave beyond curses.

Number 22:6-12

6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
7 And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.
8 And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.
9 And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee?
10 And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying,
11 Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
12 And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.

The blessings of God forbids the curses of men.

Gal. 3: 13-14

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

As a redeemed child, you have ben taken from curses and placed in the blessings of God.

Potentially, you an embodiment of the blessings of God.

You must learn how to leave in the blessings for the blessings to become a reality in your life.

There is no curse the blessings of Gd cannot destroy. To destroy curses then you learn how to live in the blessings of God.

Obedience to God is the primary way to live beyond curses.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

It takes obedience to the will of God to live above and beyond the curses in the world.

You cannot obey God and live under a curse.

Job 36:11-12

11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

You escape curses by simply obeying God.

Isaiah 1:19-20

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The blessings of the Lord are received by our obedience to the will of God. So also our disobedience brings s curses.

The power of curse is in your disobedience.

Deuteronomy 28: 1-3, 15

1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: -Deuteronomy 28:15

To live beyond curses, you must live to obey God

Building Confidence In Prayers

Building Confidence in Prayers

Luke 18:1 - 8

1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Prayer is one important activity in our spiritual life. You cannot separate prayers from your spiritual life.

However, praying alone does not just guarantee an answer. So we need to no what motivates God to answer our prayers.

We need boldness and assurance of faith when we approach God in prayers.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:16

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. -Hebrews 10:22

Boldness and assurance of faith builds in us the confidence to prayer and also assure us that God will answer us.

So boldness and assurance of faith will bring confidence.

So if we know how to build our confidence for prayers then we will be sure to gains answer from the throne of grace whenever we pray.

How do you build confidence in prayers.

I want us to consider two ways to build confidence in our prayers.

Your Relationship with God.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. -2 Timothy 1:12

True confidence comes from relationship. The stronger your relationship with a person the stronger your confidence to talk with him.

In like manner, the stronger your relations with God the stronger your confidence in talking (praying) to Him.

Paul said "I know whom I have believed". He had a relationship with God and that gave him the boldness or confidence to always pray to God.

Until you grow in your relationship with God, you never have confidence in praying to Him.

You must develop your relationship with God via the study of the Word of God. The more you study Him, the more you know Him. And the more you know Him, the more you grow in your relationship with God. And this brings confidence.

Persuasion in the Ability of God.

Relationship will always brings persuasion. You can be persuaded in the ability of the person you are in relationship with.

And this persuasion now gives you confidence in your communication with the person.

In the same way, relationship with God will build in you persuasion in the ability of God and that will give you confidence to pray.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. -2 Timothy 1:12

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: -1 John 5:14

Until you are persuaded that God will answer your prayers you will ot receive an answer.

God works with our persuasion.

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. -Romans 4:21

Abraham got the promise because he was fully persuaded that God could do what He had promised.

Two ways to develop confidence in prayers are:

Your relationship with God and your persuasion in the ability of God.

I challenge you to grow in knowing God and rest in the ability of God.

Blessings to you in Jesus Name.

Receiving Strength for Successful Living

Receiving Strength For Successful Living

It is important to begin by saying that it takes strength, I mean divine strength, to live successfully in fulfilling the purpose of God.

No weak person can be relevant in the Kingdom of God nor in the society.

Your level of usefulness is a product of your inner strength.

God created man to live a successful life.

However man's success was to be within the will of God and within the environment God has placed him. Adam was only successful while he was in Eden.

Adam was lived a peaceful life full of achievement while he was in Eden and through the strength of God that was in him.

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. -Genesis 2:19

But along the way, Adam became weak and lacked the strength of God to do the will of God and to exercise the his authority.

The devil came into his life and weakened him. And as a result, he could no longer fulfill his destiny nor live a successful life which God has ordained for him.

The major activity of the devil is to weaken people, nations so that they cannot live the life God has ordained for them.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! -Isaiah 14:12

Until you are weakened by the devil, you cannot come under his afflictions.

Until you are weakened by the devil, he cannot have access into your like.

Satan will first weakened you by his lies, deceptions, wiles, fears, and doubts before he could have access into your life.

As long as the nations are under the weakening activity of the devil, the devil will always have control over them.

To live a successful life therefore we must overcome and live beyond the weakness the devils at us.

It will take the strength of God to live a successful life.

It will take the strength of God live above the weakening activity of the devil.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. -Philippians 4:13

I am able to do all things through him who gives me strength. -Philippians 4:13 (Bible in Basic English)

To every kingdom child, Christ is our strength.

Psalm 27:1-5

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

You cannot be strong until you are strengthened by Christ. And until you are strengthened by Christ you cannot live a successful life in the Kingdom.

If Christ is our strength or Christ is the one that strengthens us, then the more we relate with Him the more He infuses His strength into us.

Your relationship with Christ will determine your level of strength in living a successful life full of peace and blessings.

We grow in strength by growing in our relationship with Christ.

Prayer is one major way to tap into the strength of Christ as we relate with Him.

Acts 4:31 - 33

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

The apostles had unusual strength because they prayed and maintained their relationship with the Lord.

You cannot be a man of strength if you are not a man of prayers.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. -Luke 4:14

After prayed 40 days and night, he returned with power of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Spirit simply means the strength of the Spirit.

He got the strength on the platform of prayers.

You cannot lack strength when you are given to prayers.

As you grow in prayers you also grow in strength.

As you grow in strength, you stand strong against the devil in establishing the will of God and at the same time, live successfully.

Primary Function of Prayers

The Primary Functions of Prayer

God has promised us peace this year. And our peace comes from the Lord Jesus because He is our prince (source) of peace.

Our relationship with the Lord will determine the level of peace we will enjoy here on earth.

Our relationship with God is the major route to the peace of God.

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. -Job 22:21

Until you are in relationship with God, you cannot be at peace.

The more you grow in relationship with God the more your peace abounds and increase.

We grow in our relationship with God by knowing Him. The more you know Him, the more you relate and grow in relating with Him.

The more we know Him, the more we grow to be like Him.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. -Romans 8:29

God's greatest desire is to know Him and be conformed to Him.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; -Philippians 3:10

One way to constantly know God is through prayers.

The primary function of prayer therefore is not to get blessings from God but to know God.

Prayer is given us as a medium to conform us to the image of the Son of God.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, -Galatians 4:19

Jesus prayed and He was changed.

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. -Luke 9:29

If your prayers changes from give me, bless me, I receive and I claim, to make me like you, conform me to your nature, you will begin to enjoy the peace of God and the blessings you never asked for.

Let your prayer bringing to the point where God will cloth you .

Learned Pastor Bottles Inspired Second Vintage in Vine Series of Books
Author Wisdom Emamuzo Peter pours the sparkling spirit in brilliant but simple measure

GWAGWALADA ABUJA, Nigeria – (Release Date TBD) – The Kingdom of God is at hand…

This is the good news that Pastor Wisdom Emamuzo Peter rejoices in.  He wishes his readers to partake in his labor and themselves rejoice.  Such is the verity of the way the Lord, in His wisdom, has planted His vineyard with the life and example of His Son.  The Kingdom of God is at hand and it is an organic enterprise, likened to a vine.  Christianity at its root is an ever-growing entity and is in its efflorescence, reveals the harvest of lived experience in the rich, carefully processed vintage of its works.  God has so ordered the world that Christians work naturally towards His greater glory.

Pastor Wisdom’s I Am The Vine, Ye Are The Branches provides important truths and principles which are needed to live effectively in the Kingdom of God. As the branches of the vine, we are peculiar sets of beings that are divinely positioned on the earth to express the beauty of divinity. In this second book of the Vine series, author Pastor Wisdom Emamuzo Peter teaches that the fruit of the vine “. . . is the expression of the hidden pleasure, beauty and nature of the Father embodied in Christ.” God greatly desires that the flock gets transformed and conformed to the image of His dear Son.

The Lord calls upon his flock not only to multiply but to fructify, to bear fruit as witness to the wisdom of life in the Kingdom.  Thus life is a transformation into every individual’s true nature in Christ.  Each and every branch, if thus “healthy,” will bear witness to a concerted effort in the prayerful work of days.  The New Testament provides the true, final image of God within humanity – this is the meaning of the metaphor of the vine (Jesus Christ) and its branches (those who shall bring forth the fruit of Christ’s teachings).

Platforms For God's Favor

Man was created to live in the favor of God. And importantly, God designed the righteous to be encompassed with His favor.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. -Psalms 5:12

To compass means "an area in which something acts, or operates, or has power or control"

With the meaning, God wants us to:

1. Act or live by His favor not by our struggle.

2. God wants us to operate or pursue our dreams by and in His favor.

3. God wants us to exercise authority and control  in His favor

Compass is also a navigational instrument for finding directions. (for sea travels)

This means the favor of God is designed to be an instrument through which God will direct us in the pursuit of His purpose and realize His blessings for our lives.

Compass could also mean a limit area of operation.

With this meaning, God's favor is to be our limit in life. The sky is not our limit. Our true limit is the favor of God.

When God put man in the Garden, He actually put man in His favor.

And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted). (Genesis 2:8 AMP)

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. -Genesis 2:15

God prepared everything man would ever need in life right in the garden. So the garden was the expression of the favor of God towards man.

And man was ordained to function, live, and pursue his purpose only in the garden which the favor of God.

But man lost it.

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. -Genesis 3:24

The moment God drove man from the garden, man lost out of the favor of God.

Sin was the reason man lost the favor of God.

So until sin is dealt man cannot receive the favor of God.

Struggle continues outside the favor of God. The reason so many people are suffering is because the are not living within the favor of God.

So it is important we learn the platform upon which we stand to enjoy the favor of God as was originally ordained for us.

Platform number One: The Kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:31-33

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God's kingdom is the first platform for the favor of God. Adam only enjoyed the favor of God right in the garden.

You must be found in the kingdom to have access to the favor of God.

To become a member of the kingdom you only need to be born of God by receiving Christ into you life.

When you receive Christ then you are now reconciled to God and also be restored to favor with God.

But all things are from God, Who through  Jesus  Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].
It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling  and  restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up  and  holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). (2 Corinthians 5:18, 19 AMP)

As long as you are in the kingdom of Gd nothing happens in the kingdom of the world that affects you.

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: -Colossians 1:13

Platform number Two: The Righteousness of God.

Therefore do not worry  and  be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?
For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for  and  crave  and  diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.
But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. (Matthew 6:31-33 AMP)

God's favor is found in His kingdom. Righteousness is our access to the favor of God in His kingdom

Righteousness is simply the God does His things. Simply put, righteousness is the will of God. When you constantly seek the will of God and stand by it, you will find the favor of God.

Jesus said, "all these things will be given to you". Which means you don't need to struggle for them. They will come by favor.

God will only surround the person in His will or doing things His way with His favor.

Esther enjoyed the favor of God because she found herself in the will or righteousness of God.

Platform number Three: Obedience

It is one thing to be in the kingdom and know the will of God. And it is another thing to obey the will of God.

In the kingdom of God we have access to the favor of God through His righteousness. But we truly partake of the favor through our obedience to the righteousness (will) of God.

Abraham naturally enjoyed the favor of God because he obeyed God.

Genesis 12:1-4

1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. -Genesis 13:2

And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. -Genesis 24:1

Your obedience to the will of God is the only way to enjoy the favor of God.

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. -Job 36:11

You are the one who determines how much of God's favor you enjoy through your obedience to God.

By this anointing service I see your taste for righteousness and willingness to obey God increase greatly in Jesus' name.

You are blessed!

Discovering Our Kingdom Priorities

Your First Priorities

The reason why many of us fail and are defeated in life is because we do not set our priority straight, we do not do things in the order of priority.

It is not enough to know what to do, you must be able to know which one is to be done.

We all are victim of having loose priority, following what are not our priority or not having priority for our live.

What is priority?

Priority:

It is a status established in order or importance or urgency

Priority simply means importance.

To have things in order of priority means to arrange or plan things in order of importance.

As God's children, God has given us what should our first priority in life and especially for this year.

Our First Priority - The Kingdom of God

Matt 6:25-34

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Why many people are worried for safety, what to eat, what to wear and what to drink, Jesus said our first worry is to seek and have the kingdom of God.

Because in the kingdom of God there are:
Peace
Prosperity
Comfort
Abundance
Security
Joy
Blessings

At this critical time in our country and in the world, make the kingdom of God your number one priority.

You cannot have the kingdom of God and live in fear.

Once you are in the kingdom of God, you are free from all the harassment of the kingdom of the devil.

What is the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God simply means God's influence our your life.

Seek to be influenced by God not by what the world or situation is saying.

Make your heart and life the dwelling place of God's influence.

Our Second Priority - Right Relationship With God

Our second most important thing as our priority is God's righteousness.

Our own righteousness is not a priority because our personal righteousness is like a filthy rag (Isaiah 64:6)

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. -Isaiah 64:6

Because our righteousness: trying to please God in our flesh is like a filthy rag, Jesus now said we should seek the righteousness of God.

We must make right relationship with God as our priority.

You must make you mind to leave sin alone and embrace the righteousness of God.
Romans 6:12-16

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Whenever you are in a right relationship with God, God moves to supply all your needs.

When we make righteousness a priority, the peace and provisions of God become our portion.

Isaiah 32:17-18

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

Our third Priority - The Word of God

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  -Matthew 4:4

The kingdom of God is ruled by the word of God. We live in the kingdom of God by the word of God.

The word of God is the conveyor of the righteousness of God.

Embrace the word of God like never before this year.

In the midst of all these challenges, go for the word of God.

Let the word of God be your confidence and security.

There is no darkness the word of God cannot light up, because the word is light

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. -Psalms 119:105

Your growth in the word of God will determine the level of blessings and peace you enjoy in the kingdom of God.

The more you grow in understanding the word, the more you make yourself available for the blessings of God.

2 Peter 1:2-3

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

All things you need for peaceful, comfortable and prosperous life is right in the word of God. But you can access them through your knowledge in the word of God.

Proverbs 4:20-22

20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

The word of God is life and health.

The Kingdom of God is the place where all your needs are met.

The righteousness of God gives us boldness to stand before God to demand for our inheritance in His kingdom.

The word of God gives us access to our benefits in the kingdom of God.

Make these three your priority for life and you will never regret it.

However, you need to be born again to become a member of the kingdom of God before you can access your blessings in the kingdom of God.
